SOAP over TCP

I was reaching SOAP/TCP and found the following article which demonstrate the performance result of SOAP/TCP(simply amazing) :

Has anyone here worked on SOAP/TCP yet? do we know if webMethods are planning to support it like providing some kind of built in service maybe or some work around to transfer SOAP over TCP ?

Have not read up on “Soap over TCP”. Seems redundant since Soap over HTTP is also “over TCP”. This feels too new to be in the immediate support plans for an IS release.

From what I read, ever so briefly, it eliminates the http “overhead” and instead implements its own protocol with an eye toward efficiency. It’ll be interesting to see if it picks up any steam.
