Session cache server.log error

We’re seeing log statements like the following once in a while…some days nothing…other days thousands of these log entries, anyone know what this is from? We are running in a 9.8 clustered environment and are seeing this on the server.log, but not every day, and not continuously.

You have to check the Terracotta server whether it was down during this time. Make sure you have the latest fix installed for TSA.

Diane, which version of IS you are using. Do you have all latest fixes, if yes & still getting error then please contact SAG Support.

We are running 9.8, and due to memory issues are seeing TerraCotta fail, we’ve increased memory on our VMs we’re running on, and will see if this alleviates these log statements we’re seeing. Thanks!

We have been using Terracotta in WM 9.7 installed in AIX OS platform.

Facing same issue exception in WM server logs

Could not save session 246c9020e7371e33a333a7be4b6382e6 to the session cache. put timed out.

  2. How to check what all fixes are applied on TS server?

What is your terracotta version?

You can check the TS is running or not by checking terracotta logs by tailing or via tmc web page below

Terracotta_Bigmemoryinstall folder/server-logs/terracotta-server.log

http://xxxxx:9889/tmc/ (make sure you have started TS management console via /tools/management-console)

I believe CCE doesn’t support the SPM for BigMemory at least I can say with 4.1.5. Can’t comment about the latest if it started supporting or not.

  • ./TS terracotta server is running, as i can see process for same in OS AIX platform

I believe TS tmc web page is not coming bcoz of license issue & I didn’t configured TS in CC console page as well so
Is there any way in while login in AIX unix box i can check which version TS is belong to and what all fixes are applied ?

May be please check the Terracotta folder or license file and determine the version details etc… the filename would be:

terracotta-license.key

Did you check with your wM Admin resource also?

Hi,

I am facing the same error in my environment for past two days,

My IS version is 9.0 and Terracotta servers are up during the time when I get this issue.

The server gets hang and we are restarting it every time.

Any inputs please.

Hello Experts,

I’m facing the same issue in my wm9.10 IS server.
In IS servers logs I’m able to see 1000s of same errors as you got previously.

The cluster is now not operational.

My Terracotta server memory is configured as 4GB.I want to increase to 8GB.
Can someone advise where to increase this Memory configuration.I am using IS9.12 on Solaris machine.
