Sasl authentication not support for AMQP connections

We are trying to communicate with the UM via the AMQP protocol.
Authentication is need and we have set the config to use the SASL Plain.
When trying to connect we are getting that “Sasl authentication not support for AMQP connections”.
How can we solve this or are there any other basic authentication method available?

Could you verify that you enabled the server authentication: https://techcommunity.softwareag.com/ecosystem/documentation/onlinehelp/Rohan/num10-1/10-1_UM_webhelp/index.html#page/um-webhelp%2Fto-sasl_5.html

By configuring SASL Plain for AMQP, is not enough- authentication need to be enabled globally for the server.
