SAP Adapter Listener needs to be able to connect to the secure gateway port

Hi,

one of my colleagues has the requirement to connect the SAP Adapter Listener to the secure port (sapgwxxs/48xx) of the gateway instead of the unsecure port (sapgwxx/33xx).
xx stands for the system number of the SAP instance.

SNC authentication is in place for both the connection and the listener.

We have already opened an Incident in Empower eService and a Feature Request (number 05497) in Brainstorm for this.

Any ideas if and how this is possible with the current SAP Adapter 7.1?

This gets more and more serious for us, esp. when security and encryption comes into focus nowadays.
