RosettaNet 4.6 working with reverse invoke

Hello,
We are working with RosettaNet package 4.6 and we are trying to use reverse invoke for the first time.
We have configure the two servers following the Integration Sever Administration Guide 4.6.
And some question arised:
Q1: Do we need to install the RosettaNet package on both servers? If we only need to install it on the internal server, how the conversations are started?
Q2: Is possible to get an example or a guide were to se how to configure RN with Reverse Invoke?

Thanks and Regards

Miguelangel,

  1. The RN package should only be installed on the internal server. You should keep your DMZ (aka proxy) server barebones.

  2. You do not need to do anything special when using RN in a RI environment. There used to be a problem where webM software was stripping the HTTP headers when the data moved from the proxy server to the internal server which kept RNIF 2.0 from working but that was fixed in IS/RN 4.6.

Q1: Do we need to install the RosettaNet package on both servers? If we only need to install it on the internal server, how the conversations are started?

Ans:No need to install Rosettanet Packages on both the servers, just use on the InternalServer.

And regarding the conversations,it will kick off based on the senderRole,ReceiverRole and starting Document Type which need to be configured using .PAR files(Process pip Archives)and place them in packages/RosettaNet/ import folder.

And Using Admin tool publish the conversations using the above PAR files and this will create conversation steps in TNConsole which will be viewed in Conversation tab section.

Q2: Is possible to get an example or a guide were to se how to configure RN with Reverse Invoke?

Ans:I think no sample guides are available for this.May be contact support for more information.

HTH.

Thanks for your help, it is clear now.
