You should definitely avoid using the DB adapter to integrate to Siebel 7. The Siebel adapter for the Integration Server (formerly B2B Server) has recently been certified on Siebel 7. I have used this in integrations, as well as using Siebel’s Workflow and Business Services to generate XML and send this over HTTP to the Integration Server. I’ve also successfully published from a Server Script in a Business Component to the Broker using the COM API and Siebel VB. You may want to contact Technical Services to find out what the plans are for the Enterprise Adapter and Siebel 7 support.
