Problem in IS connection

Hi all,
while connecting to IS through developer .i am getting the following error

java.net.UnknownHostException. I had given all the details of the server name,user name and pswd . but it is throwing following error. can anyone tell this why doe this error comes and how to relsove this error.

Try the IP address instead. Looks like the domain name is missing.
