Password Policy Change for Empower Sign-on

Dear customers,

We would like to inform you that, due to security reasons, the password policy to access this portal using Empower Log-in will be changed on April 22nd.

These are the changes that will be implemented:

  • Number of failed login attempts: After 5 failed login attempts, accounts will be blocked for 2 minutes. In case 5 more failed attempts, in sequence, accounts will be blocked for double time and so on.

  • Periodic Password Renewal: Users will be forced to change their passwords yearly.

  • Password History: Users will not be able to reuse the last ‘10’ passwords.
