number of descriptors in the command log

Hi,

I would like to know this: when I have a periodic field in a superdescriptor, then, in the CLOG’s the field number of descriptors updated can be higher than the number of superdescriptors/descriptors of one file?

Thanks by the attencion.

If you have a superdescriptor based on a PE, then the number of descriptors updated will be the number of descriptors / superdescriptors based on the PE times the number of occurrences of the PE, plus any other descriptors.

That is, there is only one “definition” for a descriptor or a superdescriptor with a PE component, but there will be a super/descriptor per occurrence. (Actually, there are other factors: null suppression and mu-status that can vary the number, but close enough…
