Notification Manager waiting for Integration Server Initialization

hi,
i am new to wm usage. i am getting “Notification Manager waiting for Integration Server Initialization” this error when i install my webMethods IS along with EDI setup. once i get this error for 2-3 days IS will work. then it stops working.can any one suggest why i am getting this error.

What is this “Notification Manager” is it linked with your IS or is it something installed running on that box?
