Need for more than 2 IS servers in a cluster

I am trying to find in what scenarios is the it advisable to add a 3rd IS to a cluster that already has 2 ISs.

Hi Siddarth,

Let’s say you have more business data which is not being handled by 2 IS’s which are in cluster as per you KPI’s, or if your client is not satisfied with the performance of current processing or if you more budget ( )alloted to the project then you can go with 3rd IS in cluster.
