The “Messaging” option does not appear in our My webMethods Server.
I’ve tried deleting and recreating the server using “My webMethods Server Configurator”, checking all of the components and no luck.
Our versions are:
Monitor - 126.96.36.199.52 SP2
My webMethods Server - 188.8.131.52.42 SP2
Messaging - 184.108.40.206 SP GA
Broker - 220.127.116.11.756
The Messaging “option” is installed as part of Broker. You need to drill into the Broker component tree to find it. Of course, that means you need to be using an Installer login associated with a customer account that is licensed for Broker.
The webMethods product installation documentation might shed some light on this.
All of the proper components were installed. I did find a fix though.
This problem was resolved by applying Broker_Portal_6-5-2_Fix4 located at https://advantage.webmethods.com/advantage?targChanId=kb_home&oid=1614312237
