JDBC Adapter Configuration webMethods 60

Platform: Solaris 8
Adapter: JDBC 6.0

Problem:

When creating a JDBC Adapter throught the 6.0 administration tool we have experienced the following problem.

Scenario 1:

We specify a package, folder and a connection name (all of which already exist) along with the other required parameters. The system returns a error while creating referencing the ART package.

Scenario 2:

We do not specify a package name, we add a folder that does not exist and a new connection name. The system creates the folder and the connection. The connection however is not visible in the Developer tool, even though it shows as enabled. It does not appear in developer, but when creating a new adapter service, it displays as a selection in the selection screen.

This seems very weird, has anyone else encountered this?
