Is there a benefit to using Logout URL with Cumulocity and SSO?

Detailed explanation of the problem:

Not a problem but a question for the forum: in the SSO config is a logout URL and our SSO mechanism supports a logout URL. From what I read, it looks like using a logout URL would terminate any other open cumulocity sessions if a user logs out. Is that accurate? Is there a benefit to using a logout URL?

Hi Dave,

The idea behind supporting Open ID Connect is to allow organisations to ensure that people do not leave applications open unintentionally. You can configure the behaviour to occur when a user logs off one application, which allows you to automatically log off all applications/sessions.
