Installing API Gateway

Hello,

We are going to migrate soon from Mediator to API Gateway.

I want to get my hands on API Gateway to see how it works and so on.

What I saw is that every documentation of API gateway does not contain the installation part.

What is exactly an API Gateway? Is it an Integration Server with a special package and special configurations? (like with Mediator)?

Can it be installer using the webMethods installer?

Hello Vlad,

Yes, it is an Integration server with package and configuration.

You can select API Gateway component from SAG installer and provide valid license file and database details.(in case you want external DB)
