Inexplicable loss of B2B Services


We are using webMethods B2B Server v 4.0.1 for partners. We are experiencing frequent, but random, loss of service of webMethods.

Basically, the access to any component becomes unavailable. However, the service job appears to be active. We are getting no meaningful error messages in the logs.

The B2B Server is initialised as an ‘Auto Service’ job on Windows 2000 Prof Server. We have setup a separate ‘Administrator’ profile that is dedicated to this job.

There is very little activity going through webMethods at this point. Ending the service and subsequently restarting brings the server back up providing temporary respite before crashing again.

Any help would be much appreciated.
