How to determine the number of reverse connections between internal an Reverse invoke

Is there any rules (volume related I guess) to determine how many reverse connections is required between internal and reverse invoke.

Actually we receive about 1000 transaction/day with 10 reverse connections. It is enough?

I have the same question. Did you ever get an answer?

It depends kind of design you have and load we are expecting. Lets say if your Reverse Invoke servers are placed behind external load balalncer which keeps on probing the servers and at one point of time it forwards request to any one , then in that case having higher number of connection is good idea.

But we have to be carefull while keeping the connection number high because it may eat up your Internal servers resources.
