Getting Read time out issue

Hi,

I am facing below issue in prod environment. Its something related to timeout.

[408] while executing trigger. Unable to ack Document for TriggerStore *** Trigger Name***
[407]2016-05-12 06:15:07 EDT [ISS.0098.0049C] Exception:com.wm.app.b2b.server.dispatcher.exceptions.EndpointUnavailableException: [ISS.0098.9014] BrokerException: Timeout (112-1450): The request timed out.

You guys have any experience with this issue?

Hi Rama,

are there any firewalls involved between IS and Broker or UM?
If so, you should check with the firewall administration team if the timeout can be increased.

Please provide the relevant versions and the names of the fixes being applied.

Run “broker_ping -s <broker_name>@:” to capture the output from broker_ping command during the time when the below error is throwing so we can identify whether the issue is due to Broker or something relating to the network traffic which is causing the timeout

If the output from “broker_ping” does not show any timed out error, then it indicates that the root cause of this issue is not due to broker, but it may due to network.

Also make sure you have the latest broker fixes and you may also restart the IS once to see if time out issue is stopped.

so I guess that your Broker Version is also 9.6.

Please check for the following Fixes:

  • Broker 9.6 Core Fix8 (on Broker Server)
  • Broker 9.6 Java API Fix5 (needs to be applied to Broker, IS and MWS)
  • Broker 9.6 Portal Fix3 (on MWS)

Is there anything in the Broker Log related to this?

Hi,

you will need Empower Access to download the Readmes from there or inntrospct the FixImage created by SUM when downloading the Fixes as the Readmes are stored in this image.

if you know your companies customer number with SAG you can request access for “Extranet and KB”.

There should be a link on the Empower entry page with a guide how to register.
