I am trying to use the “getFile” service in the Wmpublic package under the “pub.file” sub-directory. Everytime i give the path for the file (eg : C:\a.txt), i get an error saying that the file does not exist even though it does exist.If anyone has used this service , please let me know the solution for this problem

r u sure that the file exists on the same machine where webMethods is installed.

Is the server installed where the file is located? If so then getFile will get the file otherwise you have to give sharing to the system where the file is located. getFile service will pick the file that are accessible to the system where IS is installed.
