Background - we use Tamino to collect, store and manage a sports information service.
The collections are maintained via HTML interface.
Issue - we currently use a Java FTP client that queries collections and dcotypes based on data range, the data is then sent via FTP to the nominated client (graphic attached). With additional clients each requiring an FTP client we have had to send the data to an internal machine and then broadcast via a multi-client FTP program from there. We still wish to send data rather than have database queries being executed, as database access will be another level of service.
Required - suggestions (either software or programming) that will permit a similar query protocol (collections, doctypes and date ranges - either general or by collection-doctype) and broadcast to multiple clients either via HTTP, HTTP/S or other recomended protocol.
Thanks in advance for your assistance
