Event Manager

Hi,

Can anyone please let me know what is “Event Manager” in webMethods? and what is its importance in relation with webMethods Developer.

I did try to search else where, but didn’t get a proper answer.

EventManager details available in Developer user guide-Chapter14- Subscribing to Events.

When an event occurs, the Event Manager automatically invokes all event handlers that subscribe to the event

For Example, Exception is an event type, we can specify when exception happen in the particular package, we can invoke corresponding service for error handling.
