EI adapter == IS adapter

Hi all,

if I develop an adapter for EI, will it also run on IS? I’m asking because there seems to be only one adapter developoment kit.

I am not sure what are you trying to find here.

Suppose you are creating an Oracle Adapter for the Enterprise Server- ES, and you use Enterprise Integrator-EI to develop an Integration, then it cannot be used with the Integration Server-IS directly.

ES and IS are different product lines from webMethods.
ES is basically used for EAI, and IS is used for B2B transactions. Yes, its possible for ES and IS to communicate with each other, but that is possible with a different set of adapters.
