could anyone help me in displaying a PACKED format VIEW-CODE-ID variable in NATURAL program.

My variable VIEW-CODE-ID is defined like this in the file.
1 1 VIEW-CODE-ID A 6.0 D ZA N
Field is defined as unique
2 RE 1 VIEW-CODE-ID

3 2 VIEW-CODE A 1.0
4 2 PRODUCT-CODE P 9.0

I tried to display VIEW-CODE-ID directly, i am getting the display as

Ekn?9

Pkn?9

…

Please help in this regard.

This is what you have to expect when DISPLAYing an Alpha field which is redefined and contains binary data :!:

The only way to get a meaningful display in that case is

DISPLAY VIEW-CODE-ID (EM=H(6))
