As part of a project collaboration with Software AG’s Corporate University, we from the Cumulocity IoT device management team have created a new and updated version of the Device management library documentation.
It aims to explain the main device management functionalities, outline data models, data flow and their meaning. It answers questions like how device tabs are controlled/activated, what data models and flows each tab manages and how communication with devices is made. All of this is explained in detail with REST and SmartREST examples.
