Cumulocity IoT’s latest release enhances the overall user experience and makes it easier to develop and manage IoT solutions, reducing time to value and allowing more rapid innovation.
Enhanced User Interface. Updated color scheme with usability and accessibility improvements for screen readers, keyboards and components. The right drawer is redesigned for easy access to user-related settings.
Analytics Builder analyzes assets and smart groups. Asset hierarchies defined in Digital Twin Manager and device smart groups can now be analyzed using Analytics Builder. Use the Group Statistics block with these collections of devices to perform aggregation analysis such as averaging humidity across child devices and storing the value on the parent asset.
View richly formatted content in dashboards. Cockpit’s new markdown widget is designed for displaying content written in markup language and allows you to include rich content in your dashboards.
Device management improved home page. Redesigned homepage for Device management with quick links and recent alarms to streamline device management tasks.
Visualize Digital Twin Manager asset hierarchies. Gain a better visualization of asset hierarchies with the introduction of the Asset Tree in Digital Twin Manager.
Improved management of Extension Packages. Greater flexibility in managing extensions with added support for upgrades and downgrades.
Single-step revoking of platform access. Tenant administrators can quickly respond to a security breach and revoke all user session tokens used for OAI-Secure or Single-Sign-On access to the platform in one step.
Compliance with RFC 9068 enables use with many Identity Access Managers. Support introduced for new OAuth2 access token types allowing tenant administrators to configure external Identity Access Managers to work with Cumulocity IoT.
