Creating a new 7.1 Broker in Unix - can I just copy (i.e clone) and existing one?

Hi there,

I’m setting up a new set of webMethods environments on HP UX (IS, Broker and MWS).

They are to be a mirror of an exisiting environment setup.

I know it’s possible to tar up the IntegrationServer directory then change the settings in IS/bin.

Is it also possible to copy the Broker (and MWS) like this? Or should I use installer? I’m thinking a copy is easiest as it’ll make sure the are both patched just the same.

Hey guys - just to update this thread.

In the end I decided to install it all via Installer. Took longer but much cleaner.
