What are you trying to achieve? Please describe it in detail.

We want to recieve the device availability information. We tried to achieve this by adding c8_Availaibity fragment to c8y_SupportedOperations but it didn’t work.

How can I get the device availibality information.

Do you get any error messages? Please provide a full error message screenshot and log file.

Have you installed all the latest fixes for the products and systems you are using?

please check the documentation link: You need to set a value for “Required interval” otherwise monitoring is not active.

I tried the solution but this is the output I am receiving.


Yes, now you see the send connection being “online”.
What else did you expect?

The required interval should be chosen based on how often communication from the device is expected.
E.g. if the device only sends a measurement every 5 minutes the required interval should be >5 minutes.

I would like to understand what the two arrows in the picture represents.

Does this indicate the device is on or available at the customer side?
