Can I use Enterprise Gateway Rule in my IS without configuring Enterprise Gateway Server?

Hello Experts,

I’m using integration server version 10.1 and I’m trying to add Enterprise Gateway Rule in IS and I don’t have configured Enterprise Gateway Server. Do I need to configure my IS as Enterprise Gateway Server OR I can create a Rule in IS without any other configuration.

Hi Ashika,
Enterprise Gateway rules are applicable when IS is acting as Enterprise Gateway i.e. the rules get applied only to requests coming to external port configured in the IS.
