We have a requirement where we are asked to suggest a solution for consolidation of data from different databases and display the information on a portal real time using webMethods.
The portal has to display the data in short period of time (app. less than 10 seconds) by reaching to different databases.
Our approach approach to this at very high level is to have the data consolidated from all the end systems(databases) and have a central data store and have the portal query the central data store. We will be using webMethods for real time data transfer of data between the end systems and the central data store.
Please suggest if you have seen similar requirements before and what are the probable problems with the above approach / if you have to suggest any other solution that would really help.
