We have unexpectly click on install release on the WmEDI_6-5-2_Fix14.zip package. we want to know the root cause of the issue and what is the impact on the system.

What you want to know from here?..I believe even you installed the fix it shouldn’t impact much but try to replicate the same in your lower environment and test your EDI interfaces.

Can you try uninstall the fix via SUM?

Thanks for the quick response…
We have already applied fix WmEDI_6-5-2_Fix14.zip. We have selected “WmEDI_6-5-2_Fix14.zip” Unexpectly and click on install release once again. we want to know the impact on instance and is roll backed any work after applyed fix? please let us know

Yes if you rollback it correctly and also check the FIX readme file regarding uninstallation procedure.

In the worst case you would have back up the environment in any case.

Already we have installed the fix long back but unexpeclty we have installed the once again. what will be the impact?

I guess there should not be any impact installing the same fix twice (repeatedly). To make sure can you check with SAG support. They might give you the answer to your question.

This means that you are not able to revert to the previous state (before installing the fix for the first time) as the repository where this information is stored has been replaced by the version with this fix already included.

Check IntegrationServer/replicate/salvage for details. Each Package with a Fix installed has a Backup-Copy without the fix there. Check the manifest.v3 files in the root of the package for the list of installed Fixes.
