See what happened during New York user group meet up
On June 27, Software AG held the third of five North American user groups this year. New York is a popular location, and with the substantial local customer base, the event was well attended.
Early birds met with R&D experts in an exclusive Technology Breakfast. Then Raj Datta, President, North America, kicked off the day with an energizing welcome, followed by a fireside chat with Saurabh Maheshwari of Michael Kors and Rick Ladendecker of Applied Business Communications. Next, we enjoyed a lively partner discussion between Joseph Rossi of TurtleBay Advisory and Zach Bennett of VEA moderated by Rob Risany, our VP of Alliance and Channels.
The Integration and API track was popular. Sachin Gadre started the track with a presentation on the latest product enhancements and the upcoming roadmap, and product managers Przemek Kulik and Paul Fischer showed live demos of API management and webMethods.io Integration, the newest jewel in our crown. Our long-time partner, Dan Schirf of Cross Vista, shared a new tool for scriptless DevOps. The day ended on a high note with a presentation from Alan Condon, Manager of Integration at Canadian Forest Products, talking about how webMethods has supported and enabled business expansion through automation.
The grand finale of the event came as a nice surprise when everyone started singing “Happy birthday” to congratulate Software AG on its 50th birthday.
We’re lucky to have such a fantastic customer base and it was a real pleasure to see you all in New York. In case you have missed the event, you still have time to sign up for and attend the NA User Groups meet up in Atlanta, GA later in the year.
