Can I use email (xxx@gmail.com) as a ‘Key’ for the Account Store module?

Hi Team,

Can I use email (xxx@gmail.com) as a ‘Key’ for the Account Store module? The data I want to store looks something like this: abc@gmail.com: +19145556666. If yes, when I want to get the data back from the Account Store, do I need to html encode the ‘@’ sign in the key in order to retrieve the data?

Hi Vidyesh,

Yes, you can use the email Id (xxx@gmail.com) as a Key for the Account Store module. It is important to ‘Save’ and ‘Test’ the workflow in order to store the key-value pair/s in webMethods.io Integration engine’s local storage. There is no need of HTML encoding to get data from the Account Store.
